  B-LinkU - Overview
 
B-LinkU is our best selling low cost ISDN simulator. This compact unit allows you to simulate the basic rate ISDN network between any terminal fitted with an S/T or U interface, such as routers, TA's and video conferencing units. Both ports are completely independent allowing you to connect 2 terminals with the same interface type or one U interface terminal and one S/T interface terminal.

Convenience
B-LinkU allows you to make 64K or full bandwidth 128K data (or speech) calls in your CCIE lab, at an exhibition or on the work bench. It's even possible to make calls from one terminal in isolation, using the auto-answer mode. Status LED's are provided to indicate activity at all protocol layers including any bearer (B) channels used. B-LinkU performs complete call handling procedures for accurate simulation, without the need for a Switch or PBX (Central Office).

Ease of Configuration
Each unit is supplied with a simple delivered configuration for plug & play simplicity.

 

A Windows software program is provided with the B-LinkU so that the user may specify telephone numbers, protocol support, SPID's and much more. Any required changes can be saved as the new default.

Protocol Decode
The B-LinkU software program also provides access to the powerful protocol trace feature, ideal for those wishing to learn more about the ISDN protocol or for fault finding.
